Biography:
Parademons are monstrous shock troops serving the New God Darkseid in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). They first appeared in full force in the 2017 film, Justice League, though a glimpse was provided in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
These creatures are insectoid in appearance with leathery wings and an aggressive, hive-minded nature. They are mass-produced and genetically engineered to follow Darkseid's commands without question. Their primary function is to overwhelm and conquer worlds in service of their master's ambitions. They feed on fear, making them a terrifying presence on any battlefield.
In Justice League, Parademons are unleashed on Earth after Steppenwolf arrives to claim the Mother Boxes. They are shown to be vulnerable to conventional weaponry but their sheer numbers and ferocity pose a significant threat. They can also transform captured beings into more Parademons, quickly swelling their ranks.
